Mary Claire White
Mary Claire White was born in Memphis, graduated from Bartlett High School, graduated from the University of Memphis with a B.A. in Communications and an M.A.T. in Education. She taught second grade at Macon Hall Elementary for eight years and is now happy to serve the city she loves by helping people meet their real estate needs. She currently owns a small gift boutique and an ice cream and bubble tea shop in the Broad Avenue Arts District. She and her husband Chris have two children: Ella, a sophomore at the University of Memphis and Emerson, a senior at Houston High School.
Real Estate Career
Mary Claire enjoys being part of an industry that helps people satisfy the basic need of finding a home they love. She has enjoyed learning about the industry and working with other agents. She is exceptionally good at understanding people and has been inspired by the interactions she has had with clients. Her goal is to further her service to the people of 901.
Mary Claire enjoys yoga, swimming, cooking, and traveling with her husband and two children. They like to plan trips when the children are on break or when they can work in a long weekend. She enjoys her three Pomeranians, pug, and two cats.
Mary Claire is an avid supporter of Memphis small businesses and makers. She owns a successful gift boutique in the Broad Street Art District and features local artisans. She is known for her house-made soy wax candles and for the candle-making classes she teaches in the shop. She is currently the President of the Historic Broad Avenue Arts Association.
If you had seven minutes to spare, how would you spend it?
When I have a few spare minutes, I like to take a ride with my husband Chris in the convertible 1976 MG that he restored. There’s nothing more fun than taking in some beautiful Shelby County scenery.
