Marisa Mender-Franklin is the farmer and florist behind Midtown Bramble & Bloom. Marisa grew up in the garden, helping her grandparents with their roses and dahlias and her mother with a cottage garden. After growing the flowers for her own wedding in 2020, Marisa opened Midtown Bramble & Bloom to offer specialty cut flowers, gardening education, and special event florals to her Memphis neighbors. Marisa grows in 7 garden plots, located in backyards and spares lots throughout midtown. Midtown Bramble & Bloom is a regenerative farm, using only organic agricultural practices that build soil health, feed pollinators, and foster biodiversity.
